Meet Josh.
Your Fort Collins Therapist

Hi, I’m Josh!

  • he/him

  • I tend to go down rabbit holes about psychology, identity, and relationships—like, deep dives.

  • I grew up in a highly structured religious environment, which definitely shaped how I think about identity and questioning things.

  • I’ve spent a lot of time unlearning black-and-white thinking and figuring out what actually feels true for me.

  • People usually think I’m quiet at first—but give it a minute.

  • I love building things just for the sake of it (apps, music, random ideas). It’s “how hard could it be” meets “mess around and find out.”

  • I’m into pickleball and totally get the hype

  • Loud chewing is a total nails on a chalkboard for me.

  • I can accidentally turn almost anything into a deep conversation about identity or meaning.

  • I’m probably overthinking something right now, but in a productive way.

You're on your couch, feeling nowhere near ready to click the "schedule meeting" button for our intro session.

You picked a time…

Oh man... here we go. Maybe I should just say something came up.
Do I really need this?
Actually... I think my dog has a hangnail, I should handle that instead.

But deep down, you know you deserve this.
You feel it in your bones.

And then, five minutes into our meeting, you're thinking,
Hey, Josh isn't so bad!

Before you know it, you're actually looking forward to our sessions (no joke!) because after each meeting, you feel heard, understood, and a whole lot lighter (even on those days when you feel like a total trainwreck!).

Week by week, you start noticing real changes.
The work is hard, but it's HAPPENING.
It feels amazing to have me in your corner, cheering you on, challenging you, and reminding you,

"You’ve got this!"

Here’s the best part of working together:

That nagging worry, sadness, anger, and frustration?
They’ll start to fade into the background.

You’ll experience “aha” moment in our sessions that make you feel empowered again. You’ll notice small weekly changes that help you rediscover your true self.

You are the one making all these amazing changes in your life.

You did the hard work.

You showed up every session, ready to dive deep.

I’m just your sidekick, helping to spark your superpowers and cracking a few corny jokes along the way.

Live Your Best Life

  • A smiling woman with long, wavy brown hair wearing a black top, sitting against a blue background. The friendly and approachable expression suggests a welcoming environment, ideal for those seeking help with social anxiety in Fort Collins, Colorado.

You feel self-aware, but a bit stuck.

You’ve likely spent a lot of time thinking about yourself. Your patterns, your relationships, the way your mind works. You can name what’s happening, maybe even why it’s happening, but it doesn’t seem to change how things actually feel or play out in your life. You might find yourself stuck in cycles of overthinking, self-doubt, or second-guessing, even when you “know better.” That gap between insight and change can be frustrating. Our work focuses on closing that gap, so you’re not just understanding yourself more, but actually experiencing something different.

You're going through an identity shift

Something in your life isn’t fitting the way it used to. Maybe you’re questioning beliefs you grew up with, rethinking your values, or exploring parts of your identity that haven’t fully had space before. This can feel disorienting, like you’re between versions of yourself without a clear sense of where you’re going next. There can be grief, uncertainty, or even guilt tied to these changes. Therapy can be a place to slow this process down, make sense of what’s shifting, and begin building a life that feels more aligned with who you actually are now.

You want therapy that leads to real change.

You may have tried therapy before, or spent a lot of time reflecting on your own, and found that insight alone didn’t move the needle. You don’t just want to talk about your life; you want it to feel different. That might look like responding differently to anxiety, setting clearer boundaries, or feeling more grounded in your day-to-day decisions. Our work is focused on helping you understand what’s happening beneath the surface and giving you practical ways to shift those patterns. The goal is not just awareness, but change you can feel and carry into your everyday life.

You're open, curious, and willing to try something new

You don’t have to have everything figured out, but you’re willing to explore. Even if things feel uncomfortable or uncertain, there’s a part of you that’s ready to approach things differently. Maybe you’ve noticed that what you’ve been doing isn’t working, and you’re open to experimenting with new ways of thinking, responding, or showing up in your life. Therapy works best when there’s space for curiosity and flexibility, not perfection. If you’re willing to be honest with yourself and try something new, we can build something meaningful from there.
